"The Kames hotel is in fabulous location overlooking Bute and a great base for exploring. We spent a week here and still so much to see. The hotel is lovely blend of old and modern - rooms were spotlessly clean, comfortable and well furnished. We are each night in the restaurant and enjoyed great variety of delicious meals . The owner and staff are warm, welcoming and friendly. Our dog was made welcome too! "

Rooms show some evidence of age (if you are picky about stuff like that), but it's an old Scottish Castle hotel... You want it to feel like an old Scottish Castle, don't you, and it absolutely does. "First time at the Osborne won’t be the last had a lovely room facing the Clyde Breakfast was amazing The staff were very helpful Everything was clean and tidy They did evening meals and takeaways The food looked very nice It is a proper pub bar with darts and a TV for other sports There is a large selection of beers and other drinks also free parking I enjoyed everything about my stay Thanks to the management and especially the bar staff who were hard working and always had a smile Mr A Gordon "

"First visit to this flat due to our usual one being sold. The flat is great with everything you need and we felt really comfortable and at home for our long weekend.Elderly dad managed the one flight up to the flat no problem and handy having the bus stop right outside too.Great flat and host so will be our new holiday flat going forward. "Stayed with my three grandchildren very spacious and clean room view out the window was amazing staff were friendly and helpful .Showers were good and not too far away from the room .It was great we could use the kitchen to cook our food and plenty of areas to relax.Would definitely stay again and highly recommend this hostel."
