"Cottages are lovely,restaraunt was very nice,we had breakfast and that was very good(although i never got my egg!). Not too sure about the swimming pool area,mrs thought it wasnt clean,the water very cold. We went off peak,so wasnt too busy,weather terrible as well(not the hotels fault for that). Went on ferry to Tarbert,was very disappointed,theres nothing to see and do,lots of places closed."

"Lovely little town. With safe parking just a few meters from the front door. Room was warm welcoming and quiet. All the amenities were very nice and breakfast was lovely. Easy check in attentive staff. Thank you very much for a lovely stay. "

"The communication from Chris the host was excellent, she was extremely helpful and gave us plenty of extra information about the area. The chalet was clean, comfortable and well appointed, its location was amazing with such beautiful loch walks fantastic for our dog. The local cafe, Inn and locals in general were all so welcoming. I would definitely recommend the chalet to anyone wanting beautiful scenery on your doorstep!"

"We were disappointed that there was no welcome pack, not even a teabag. The location is wonderful, but for the money paid, cleanliness wasn’t great. The dishwasher hadn’t been completely emptied, cobwebs visible, sofa corners - not pleasant & log basket wasn’t full for our first cold night indoors. The downstairs shower leaked water all over the floor under the glass side panel. But the house is lovely - just a bit more TLC."

"There was a very damp and musty smell in the hall and bathroom. The vegetation surrounding the cabin was overgrown so the outside felt oppressive rather than having a clear view of the Loch as per the advertisement. The wall glazing needs cleaning. The owner kindly supplies a huge amount of logs stored outside. Half of them disappeared during our stay which made us feel insecure as we felt it may be a local resident. ( Not really anyone else passing) Despite all this, the cabin was warm, extremely comfortable with everything you need in the kitchen, and we loved walking around and down to the Loch with our little dog / venturing further afield. Beautiful area."
