"I am a regular at the Captain Cook Inn. It has an unique ambience which refects Staithes village itself. Bed extremely comfortable but the duvet was a higher tog than the heatwave needed."

"Cameron (owner) was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of the local area, he also prepared a great breakfast. Our room was on the top floor, a comfortable and decent size room and large bathroom, it also had sea views across the harbour Our visit was for a birthday celebration, we were given a card and a bottle of Prosecco in our room which was a nice touch and much appreciated. We would definitely recommend it as a place to stay in Staithes, a good base for visiting the surrounding areas."

"Debbie was absolutely lovely, she went above and beyond… this is an absolute hidden gem. The bath in the Paris room is amazing. The beds super comfy, there’s nothing we didn’t like. We’ve already booked to come back :-) Thank you for an amazing child free weekend away x "

"An amazing hotel. From the quirky decorations to the exceptional staff, we were thrilled with our choice of hotel and would not hesitate to return there or recommend to anyone else. The food was delicious too, easily the best in the area."

"Very comfortable cottage in great location"

"Cosy clean cottage with everything you need. Lovely village and some nice walks. Lovely and cool inside during the hot weather. The only downside was i thought from the photos that the garden was fully enclosed but there was a big hole in the wall leading onto the road which meant we couldn’t let our two small dogs loose, however we did mange to temporarily block it up with garden items for our stay! It’s also worth noting that the neighbour shares access through the garden which we didn’t realise from the listing. But all in all a lovely place to stay "
