"Quite simply one of the best places we've stayed at. We chose this place for its location being within easy reach of a number of places we wanted to visit in Somerset - Cheddar Gorge, Shepton Mallet prison, and of course Bristol itself. The rooms are clean and modern, very comfortable and quiet. Plenty of attached parking, and the pub itself is cosy and welcoming. We had dinner there for one of the 3 nights we stayed, the food was excellent - I really enjoyed the Mexican-style burger, all the usual pub favourites are of course available. The breakfast was sumptuous, unlike other places where its normally a set option, we were given the choice from a separate breakfast menu - I enjoyed the 'full Temple', my partner enjoyed a spinach & cheese omelette. And most of all, the owners Adam & Lee were really friendly and wanted to ensure we were looked after, as were the bar staff and the lady serving breakfast in the morning. When we visit Somerset again we will definitely stay again - thanks very much!"

"we loved our stay in the shepard's hut at Bye Mills Farm, we had an easy check in and was left our own devices. lots of lovely walks that are very scenic. The hut its self was clean and cosy. We even saw deer in the field opposite. lots of lambs and even a buzzard! "

"There was a nice welcome as we arrived. We had booked dinner for a later time but was able to be seated early. The food was very good with a good choice in the menu. The room was large and had all the required facilities. "

"The property is very well equipped. Everything we needed was there. Kitchen was very well stocked with crockery, glassware, cookware and cutlery and a great selection of DVDs to watch in the evening. The owner had also very generously left a wide supply of teas, coffee and cake. It was a fantastic location for our family get together over Easter. Lots of really nice walks to do and a very ease walk into the village centre where there are several pubs if you don't want to cook."

"Beautiful place, the staff are great so friendly and helpful. The lady who owns the place is really lovely nothing is a problem for her such hardworking. Mark behind the bar is great so helpful and always willing to help. Beer is great, food is amazing and the rooms are fab so clean and welcoming. Loads of parking and overlooking a fishing lake. Will definitely be back soon."

"The property was beautiful. It was clean, cozy, well equipped and very pet friendly.The garden is amazing and our dog loved it . Lots of lovely walks. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful . I cooked some nice meals and found everything there that I needed, including a slow cooker. The cottage is tastefully decorated and equipped to a high standard and we felt immediately at home. There is no pub in the village but our hosts directed us to a lovely pub about 25 minutes stroll through some lovely countryside. The villagers are very friendly and welcoming too and all stopped to chat and recommend different places to visit. We can highly recommend this property. "
