"The hotel is well situated on the main road in Long Rock with parking. It was a good price with breakfast.There's a bus stop nearby for buses to Penzance, St Ives, Truro etc. The hotel has a bar for residents and locals. The room was basic but clean with a comfortable bed, tea/coffee supplies, a small wall mounted TV and a sink. The staff were friendly and helpful. I booked through Hotels.com and it wasn't obvious that the bathrooms are shared, in fact there's no mention of it. I did book a 'basic twin room' and I expected an en suite, although for the price I paid, maybe that was a stretch. The downside of being on the main is a lot of traffic noise. The wifi wouldn't connect in the room but it did downstairs in the bar."

"The hotel / inn is very old. I booked this inn because of beautiful picture uploaded in Expedia for sea view. But turn out I made a really bad decision. The sea view on spot is fair only but most importantly, the property is very old. I guess the room decoration has been used for 20 to 30 years with very min. level of maintainance. Just going inside the toilet, I see hair in the sink. Some rubbish is not yet collected. A chair seat has left over of chips. There is no hand held splinker which is very inconvenient for doing shower. No air conditioning and only a fan is provided. The carpet is very old. The toilet is so small. I can't enjoy the sea view actually as my room is just located on the first floor, below is the restaurant that people sitting outside. It is seriously overpriced. For the price I paid, I would expect decent property condition, but not like that."

"Don't know where to start... I booked a standard double room, based on the pictures I saw online. They should have to tell you there isn't enough room to have a full size suitcase and 2 adults in this room.the bed was so close to the wall it was hard to get in and out of bed. We had to rig a little corner shelf they had for tea and coffee to make our case fit. If you were just there for a night with a backpack fine, but we were traveling from the states for 2 weeks, so a big case was needed. The room itself was very clean, the bathroom was very roomy and bright. We did ask if there were other rooms available, unfortunately not for the first 2 nights, then we were able to move up to a king room. What a great room that was. The staff here was great. The breakfast was very good"
