This property is set in beautiful grounds and was very peaceful. The host was very welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable and very well equipped. The continental breakfast, fruit, tea & coffee and other provisions in the room were more than ample. All in all, great value and would thoroughly recommend. Would just mention that location of property in at the top of a steep hill.

Quiet villa in perfect garden close to Penzance.

Very quiet House in the hills above Penzance. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Breakfast is provided in the rooms with a small kitchen. Muesli, cornflakes, coffee and tees, fresh fruits and bread are available.

Wunderschöner Rückzugsort. Unser Zimmer war sehr groß und schön. Es gibt kein Frühstück im herkömmlichen Sinne, sondern im Zimmer ist eine kleine Küchenzeile und man kann sich selbst dort Toast und Kaffe machen. Butter, Marmelade und Obst sowie Saft und Milch sind vorhanden. Für eine Nacht war es für uns perfekt.

Wonderful property just outside the town. Steep hill from town and a car is necessary IMHO. Rooms immaculate. Staff polite. Low contact. Would highly recommend.

far too expensive for what you get!!

this is very expensive for what you get. they are charging top rates about £250 per night...I would expect a deluxe walk in shower instead the shower was in the bath. it was very difficult to regulate the water temperature either too hot or too cold and it was barely a dribble. I would expect sky tv we had a really old tv..the room was very clean but very dated. the bed was too soft. we turned up early and we were not made welcome. im not sure why this place qualifies for such a high price? not even a cooked breakfast all we got was some croissants and bread. its high up on top of a hill so can't walk into town, it is not near a beach.

Nice hotel but beware the hill !!

Check in was ok, would have been nice to have had a smile & a hello when we arrived. Felt like we had turned up unannounced. Rooms was very nice & clean, bed however is not a king size but a double. Hotel is at the top of a very steep hill & not within walking distance of Newlyn, at least not on the way back! A nice hotel but a little overpriced for what you get & the host doesn't give the most friendliest impression.

Jättetrevligt hotell men frukosten fick man ordna själv. Allt fanns på rummet men det känns lite som campingsemester när man får fixa allt själv. Hotellet ligger på en lugn och fin plats med stor tomt. Dock långt till restauranger.

sehr schöne Anlage, sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Herr, Das Frühstück stand auf dem Zimmer bereit, Kühlschrank war vorhanden. Leider war nur ein kleiner, etwas niedriger Tisch, der für 3 Personen nicht ausreichte, vorhanden. Deshalb mussten einen Zweiten beräumen, der aber vom Zimmerservice immer wieder zurück gestellt wurde. Es war mit 233,- € pro Nacht für ein Familienzimmer das teuerste Hotel unserer Rundreise und nicht ruhiger, als andere Hotels.

While being close to town the location is secluded, quiet and peaceful. The room was beautifully furnished and had views two ways over Mounts Bay and private gardens. The in room continental breakfast suited us perfectly.
