" The Longboat Inn is very close to Penzance Station and not too far from the harbour, so very well situated. The room was clean and very comfortable, and the shower worked well. My room overlooked the main road, and was subject to some traffic noise (mainly from one idiot with an excessively loud motorbike who seemed to be riding up and down the road), but I had a very good night's sleep. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient, especially in the breakfast room. The breakfast menu was varied, and the food was tasty and very well-cooked."

"Lovely view of Mounts Bay! House has all the necessary items for a well-provisioned stay. The host is very responsive and kindly provided a welcomed cream tea upon arrival.Only one drawback that we found: the en-suite loo in the bedroom smells due to what we assume is a holding tank for the macerating toilet. We loved the eco-friendly aspect of it, but the constant smell in that bathroom was a bit off-putting. Maybe it was due to excessive dampness that week, or it is just a fact that can’t be avoided.Overall, a great place to stay."
