"What a wonderful gem! The accommodation is as lovely as the pictures show. Very clean and spacious and has everything you need including some outdoor space. We were pleasantly surprised by this place and it’s one of our favourite properties to date. The location is absolutely superb. Lovely trail walk to the coastal trail but secluded enough that it’s quiet and private. There’s a trail across the fields to get to a great little pub with excellent food. "We were able to park outside the main door in a disabled slot. We had a room which gave us a brilliant panoramic view of St Ives. The room itself was exactly as we ordered and the shower was good. Beds were comfy. What more could you wish for? Breakfast was more of a bunfight than a pleasant meal. Buffet style eggs, bacon, sausages, hash browns, beans, pancake etc exactly like in a service station, and a million other hotels. The eggs were like plastic flip flops, the bacon stiff s a board and burnt, pancakes ran out, the meusli options were equally crudely presented and the coffee was out of a big brown machine which had no charm, produced luke warm weak coffee unless you managed the water flow. Yet I rate our stay as excellent because of the attitude of the staff and the care they gave to make sure we got what we wanted. The premises are delightful, the grounds a dream"

"Our holiday with my daughter as she celebrated her 18th birthday was brilliant, however I have a few disappointed during our staying in caravan, the caravan was nice, a wide area good atmosphere an so-rounding, the concern is the toilet there is no caddy soap, no rug on the floor, no WiFi. No free towels. But a part from that I love Cornwall, I will coming back again on the summer time next year."

"This was our 7th visit to Penventon Hotel. As always we had a very warm welcome from all the Staff. They all go above and beyond to make our stay fantastic from the Manager Alex to Reece Amyanf Josh in the restaurant . Wes and Rob in the Bar. The breakfast ladies to Danni in the spa and all the other ladies in the spa. It always feels like home from home. Truly exceptional and outstanding Staff and expiernce Kam & Jac"

"We had a good welcome by Mark on our arrival who took time to tell us about the area and transport. The room was comfortable and clean and had a fridge with fresh water and milk everyday. Very good choice of breakfast, cooked and presented well. There is also private parking on the grounds. The Mustard tree is located within walking distance for the train station and also a beautiful walk along coast to St. Ives. Also there are plenty of beaches in the local area."
