"This was our first visit to the West Highlands and we were not disappointed. A beautifully maintained resort within a spectacular setting. We had planned to visit the islands during the week but found so much to do locally we decided to save the islands for a future visit. We particularly enjoyed the local walks from the resort which we purchased from reception for £1 on arrival. "Check-in is at the property which has a front desk. Check-in was seamless and quick. Go ahead and book dinner each day there because the restaurant is fantastic. Kitchen facilities in the cabins are very good. Full kitchen for whatever you want to do. They also have a washer/dryer unit. Doesn't dry so well as so many of these perform, but ok. "

"This has to be one of the best places for its views that I have been to. So quiet and peaceful, sun was out, absolutely breath taking! Lodge was spotless, spacious and would definitely come back. Well worth the money! "

Part of the reason we chose to come was for its proximity to the two Machrihanish courses but we didn't quite realise how great the beaches are as well!
