"The room we had on suite was in a house a short walk from the sea front. This made it quite from the noise of the traffic. The staff were very friendly and helpful."

"i stayed here with my cousin to see the poppies on the pier and the fireworks.The room was really good clean and quiet being away from the noisy part of Southend but still on seafront and just 20mins walk was good for us.The staff were amazing so friendly and helpful we spent the eve in the bar and we will def stay there again.A really lovely great little hotel."

"Loved our stay at your beautiful barns, the food in the cafe was brilliant the use of spa and hot tub a great little extra! Also loved how dog friendly it was. Perfect location as we were visiting for a wedding. Would definitely return thank you so much 😊 "

"Breakfast was great and room was fine but the noise was terrible. Incredibly loud music right underneath the room until gone 11pm. Expensive concert considering that but might be better if you avoid Friday nights. "

"We had a lovely stay at The Ship Inn. The room was really clean, bright and comfortable and plenty of space to relax in. Nice to have good quality coffee and tea facilities in the room and reasonably priced items on offer in room if you wanted it. Loved the roomy shower in the bathroom. Staff were really friendly and helpful (helped find a taxi). Food in the bar was excellent, and the main menu looked great (we will try next time).
