"I had a really pleasant stay at The Ship. The room was compact but spotless and well-organised, with a comfy single bed, en-suite bathroom, TV, and a side cabinet stocked with tea, coffee, and biscuits—such a thoughtful touch. It had been a long time since I’d slept in a single bed, but it was surprisingly comfortable and perfect for a good night’s rest. I’d definitely stay again and would recommend it to other travellers looking for a clean, cosy spot with all the essentials.

"Friendly and competent staff, room was spacious with direct access to the lake (great for taking the dog out easily). Decor was outdated, but didn't distract from the overall stay, considering the place was priced appropriately. Everything was in good and working order."
