"The Room was superb very Clean, the breakfast was excellent freshly cooked and a lovely dining room."

"The room was equipped with everything we needed . The only thing is that could be improved were the pillows- very lumpy and I was not about to try and contact housekeeping at three in the morning. Also some grout in the bathroom floor needed repair. The food in the restaurant was good and the staff everywhere were delightful."

"This place is amazing! Absolutely beautifully maintained, recently updated, spotlessly clean and very stylish. The lovely couple who run it couldn't have been any more helpful. The only one suggestion would be a USB port/type C in the room. The breakfast was very plentiful and delicious with lots of choice. We will be back!"

"Getting a little run down. Homeless people camping outside . Rooms need more maintenance done.. cleaning can be a little better "

"I have stayed in youth hostels I would rate higher than the Hope Hotel. Shower didn't work, lamp didnt work, toilets didn't flush, music so loud from downstairs till 12.30am that couldn't hear TV and the shower door was rattling. Cabinet was broken and floor was dirty. Asked if could swap rooms and told what did I expect staying in a pub on a Saturday. There were rooms available and the woman was just rude. No sleep, no shower and just crap. The breakfast staff were nice and that the only positive. Wouldn't recommend at all and will share with everyone at our new travel Uk business to avoid at all costs."
