"In short, this place is amazing. Theres so much room to bring large groups, it makes the affordability outstanding. If you're looking for a mountain lodge just outside of town for large family or friend groups, this has it all. Every room was equipped with its own bathroom. The kitchen is massive and theres ping pong and shuffleboard for kids and adults. Two large hot tubs sit out back and the surroundings are nice and quiet. Bring all your ski equipment in the winter and store it all in the ski lockers, or bring your mountain bikes for the summer and hit the trails. "

"The house is fantastic with amazing views. It is a little way from Steamboat we drove in so this was not a problem. We all enjoyed the large hot tub. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The primary bed is very tall and requires step stool. The kitchen is well stocked and well laid out. We did take a Keurig and Nespresso. The game room was very nice for the teens. We did have trouble with the fireplace in the TV room. You must use the firestarters and there were not left for us. Once the maintenance person gave us the firestarters it worked great. The maintenance person was very knowledgeable and friendly. He did not have any luck with the TV. We were unable to get youtubetv to work. Even the teens could not figure it out. The property managers were very responsive and a great help with any questions. The directed us in the use of the lockers that come with the property and that was such a great bonus. The problem came when I informed them possibility 2 extra ten year old may sleep on the couch. This request was denied. Our family has been skiing for over 50 years. We have taken our kids, youth groups and now our grandkids to almost every ski town in Colorado. NEVER have I been told that a child could not sleep on the couch, of which there are several in this house that even an adult could have slept on. Children have sleep on the floor in a sleeping bags for years. Outside cameras verify the number of persons. I was flabbergasted! Be warned."

"Staying here was great! Lots of old charm in the hotel with spacious and comfy rooms. Lobby downstairs was a really nice place to hangout in the mornings as well."

"The lady working the front desk was very friendly. We were stopoing for the night to get out of a nightmare snow storm and she made check in a breeze. The room was very clean and comfortable "

"Faye was great! She had the door unlocked, lights and heat on waiting for us. The location is great, we spent most of our time playing in Steam Boat and Saddleback Ranch and came home every night to The Lodges of Oak Creek. Place was very clean cozy and comfortable. Thank you!"

"Would highly recommend!! The views were absolutely amazing!!!! Very private quiet area! The owners were extremely accomodating with us and our arrival time with such a late flight!!! Everything you need at the house!! Cute town down the road for groceries. Lots of space!! The area was centrally located to so many areas that we wanted to visit for our trip. The hot tub was clean and a huge plus after a long day!! Yard was great for sledding!! The owner added a cute little touch of christmas decorations for the season spirit."
