"Room was clean and updated, staff very pleasant and helpful. The only concern we had was that our 3:50am wake up call did not come through until 3:57am. Thankfully we still had time to get to our flight. Otherwise, all was good. "

"Fantastic hotel just out of the city centre. Room had a stunning view over the harbour, was clean and well maintained. Staff very helpful with a few amenities we’d forgotten. Didn’t try the gym or pool as spent our time out and about but strongly recommended for visitors to Victoria."

"I ahve stayed at red lion many many times. This was the worst time. The TV was messed up when we were trying to relax in the suite after wandering the city. The front desk attendant helped fix that. The sink was dirty when we got into the room. Toothpaste was still in the sink. The bed and suite were well kept otherwise. The main aggrevation of the trip was at 7:30-8am, the housekeepers were talking and yelling in Korean and laughing in the hallway for hours. We found out when we were leaving that the maids room was across the way and they had the door wide open. Our sleep was disrupted and so we're left tired for the day. This should be common knowledge that before 9-10am people are sleeping. Warning! If you get room 120, ask to move!!!!"

"Hide a bed very uncomfortable. Lacking in kitchen utensils. Breakfast buffet very expensive lack of variety and food was cold. do not recommend"

"One chair in a four person room and we were denied a second chair when we requested one. No tea in room and Keurig did’nt work!"
