"This was a great option that was among the most budget-friendly, especially for places within walking distance of Nye Beach! The staff was friendly, the pool and hot tub and sauna were all great. I would recommend this place for anyone heading to Newport!"

Waldport Bayfront Hotel and Restaurant

"We enjoyed our two-night stay at the Waldport Bayfront Hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the price was very reasonable for the location. It also looks like the hotel is in the process of making updates and improvements, which was nice to see. One of the best features of our room was the patio door that opened directly to the bay, giving us a great and easy access outside. The door itself could use some maintenance, though, as it was very difficult to open and close and the track had quite a bit of dirt buildup. The furniture arrangement in the room was a little awkward, especially around the bed. There was no power outlet on one side, so both of us had to use the same nightstand to charge our phones. A few changes to the room layout or additional charging outlets would make a big difference. The TV was a nice surprise. It was a decent-sized Smart TV on a full-motion mount, so we could angle it toward the bed and log into our own streaming services. Unfortunately, the restaurant was not open at any point during our two-night stay, so we weren't able to try it. Overall, we felt the hotel offered great value. The room was clean and roomy, the bay access was a major plus, and the few issues we encountered were relatively minor and seem like things that could easily be improved as the property continues to be updated. We would definitely stay here again."

"Place was great. We had a little incident where the room was double booked, but it was quickly corrected. Staff was helpful and very apologetic. Overall, for the price, this was an excellent place to stay. I would definitely stay here again. Breakfast was good and plenty for all."

"Amazing place. Great ocean views. Room was super clean-only missing paper towels. Swimming pool temperature was perfect. Watching the sunset in the spa was the best. Highly recommend it and will stay again. ( no elevators though )"
