"The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The facility is older and needed some scuffs repainted, but all in all we would stay there again if we were in the area. The ocean view is nice but somewhat blocked with houses. Parking was very good and right in front of our room."

The house is conducive to relaxed family time, cooking big meals, people coming and going from the beach, to hiking at Cape Perpetua, sampling the restaurants in Yachats. Everything was well taken care of and beautiful! We will definitely be back again and again."

"Such an amazing place! So grateful for all the thoughtfulness put into this beautiful home. We found three different ocean views from the house and deck, so even though its not on the water, theres a wonderful connection to the waves and lovely ocean air every minute. The linens are beautiful , the kitchen is great to cook in, and the bathroom and shower look like they were installed yesterday. So nicely appointed we can t recommend it enough. We parked the car and walked to town amd hiked the 804 and up the beach toward Waldsport and back. Also hiked the Cape Perpetua trails via the coastal trail and took the free trolley back from the Visitors Center. It runs Thursday-Sunday and has a stop on Yachats Ocean Road which is perfect! So grateful for our time at this special place and cant wait to come back."

"It is a beautiful home on the ocean. Great hot tub out on the deck overlooking the water. The rooms are very well decorated. And everything was in working order. I wish that we would’ve had a few more towels for our group. Overall, we had a great stay."

"You cannot beat the ocean views at this house! Out having coffee in the morning as a pod of whales swim by. The house itself is very spacious and well-equipped. It was quite the fun journey to find out what was behind each door as the house does not have a traditional layout and it was the best thing about the house. Was slightly disappointed by the 5 pm check in as that is late compared to hotels and most other rentals. Other than that we had a great stay and would recommend."

"We loved cooking in the huge kitchen overlooking the ocean and dining while watching hummingbirds in the rock garden. This is a unique, custom built, home. There are signed art works on all the walls and artifacts gathered from the owner's travels. There are rustic elements like the well-worn hardwood floors and slate tiles in the kitchen and bathrooms. While the decor is probably 15-20 years old, everything is in good shape, clean and cozy. We also enjoyed the small town of Yachats, especially going to the Luna Sea 'fish monger' to buy the day's catch to make dinner every night. I wish I could have stayed longer! (Out of the 5 properties we stayed at on our road trip, this was my favorite.)"
