"Nice boutique-feeling hotel close to the center"
I was in Singapore for Business and decided to extend my trip for a weekend. I moved from a renouned top hotel to Carlton Singapore. I was pleasantly surprised on how great the location is (cross street from Ruffles City mall and close to all subway lines), how nice my room was (S$200 for a king-bed room at 16th fl facing city), and how friendly and accommodating the staff were). There are some other premium hotels nearby (Ruffles, Fairmont, Swisshotel) but this one is the best value. I will book it again for my next trip!

The staff was very attentive and efficient. The seafood buffet was one of the best I have ever experienced. I wrote a complimentary note to the Hotel General Manager, Ms. Cecilia Lim and got an instant acknowledgement. I will definitely stay at this hotel again soon.

"Great location, beautiful unique hotel"
This Hotel was very well located with 3 MRT stations with in a 5 min walk. Clark Quays also only 10 mins walk & the marina about 15 to 20 mins. China Town is only 2 blocks away. The hotel itself is beautiful, the room was a good size with the bathroom area able to be opened up by a sliding door to give you more room. We had a room with a bath which was really lovely to soak in whilst looking out at the city. The pool area was nice but we didn't realise they offered food and drinks up there until the last day , I think you need to ask pool man as there is no bar or food area. The pool doesn't get much sun so it's a bit cold, but is nice at then end of the day with the breeze to sit up there. The staff where all really nice and even on the last night when we had the fire alarm go off in our room , they were very quick to respond, very apologetic and had our safety as their top priority. They arranged a free car to the airport the next day for us and the Manager ( Polly) was there to greet us and make sure everything was ok when we checked out very early the next morning. Would highly recommend this hotel to any one visiting Singapore for business or pleasure. We will be back.

    Where to Stay in Singapore?

Get ready for a roaring good time in Singapore, which is fondly referred to as “Lion City.” This island country sits on Asia’s southernmost tip, and includes a number of islets, just one degree north of the equator. Whether your idea of an epic holiday involves learning about the local culture or exploring the city’s famous landmarks, Singapore offers it all. Begin your adventure by climbing aboard the Singapore Flyer, one of the largest Ferris wheels in the world. Overlooking Marina Bay, this spinning attraction provides sweeping views of the city. Once you’ve got a sense of the lay of the land, head to the Chinatown Heritage Centre, which serves up a look into Singapore’s past, and then take a photo with the legendary half-fish, half-lion statue at Marlion Park. Meanwhile, if you’re looking to tap into your inner fashionista during your holiday, you’ve come to the right place. Singapore is renowned for its shopping opportunities, including vintage shops along Haji Lane, treasures at Sungei Road Thieves’ Market, and vendors at the eight-story ION Orchard, among countless other retail destinations.
