"Basic motel style 2 storey. Clean well kept but the key word is basic. The rooms are great but no pool

or gym. For me this what I needed as it was an overnight stop on a road trip. The onsite Pub has good food cold beer and great ambiance. I have stayed there many on trips and I will return. Good value for the money in the off season. In the summer I usually prefer a hotel/motel with a outdoor pool."

Loved access to the river, canoeing/paddle-boarding/swimming in the river, cycling on nearby country roads, plenty of games available, and nearby access to beach and hiking. Excellent accommodating support by the hosts. Listing notes need minor updating but a GREAT location and plenty of space indoors and outdoors. Oh, and the hot-tub was also well used by our family."
