"We spent 3 nights at Howie’s Retreat. He is a marvellous host. Warm, welcoming and personable. The unit itself is spacious, comfortable and clean. There is not a single thing that Howie has not provided for your comfort. If it isn’t there, you don’t need it. If anything isn’t right, he will go out of his way to fix it in a timely manner. Nothing is too much trouble. The decor is lovely too. A real home away from home. A perfect little nest for when you are not out exploring the area. Great...

"Felt very safe along with being comfortable. One block from the beach with great walks to your right down to the pier and the white rock! To your left the walk more enjoyable since lots of drift wood to sit on . Did not need duck boots to walk along beach front unless tide out and you want to explore the beach critters. Even though the weather only occasionaly cooperated the 🍒 blossoms cooperated so White Rock was partlyin bloom.Nightime drives along Marine Drive were pretty what with the trees...

"The apartment is conveniently close to UVic. It was basically brand new, very clean and in a lovely neighborhood. We had a small hiccup in checking in as we didn’t receive the code but we were able to get assistance very quickly so no big deal."

"The apartment was really lovely and had everything we needed. Mark was helpful and helped us to check in early as the apartment was ready and it was all smooth. The apartment is well located within walking distance of most everything. Not having parking is a little bit of an issue but we found secure paid 24 hour parking a few blocks away which considering the reasonable price of the unit factored in. Downtown Vancouver is having a real crisis issue with drug addicts and homeless people so one...
