Highly recommended! The staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean. I was relieved to see that the shower head is fixed to the wall—it feels much more hygienic and secure. Free breakfast and parking are included, which is a huge plus. Overall, a very satisfying stay!

Checking in was a pleasant surprise, didn’t expect it to be so good, large lobby, happy staff. The room was larger than most BW hotels, super clean. The breakfast (included) was excellent, bacon, scrambled eggs, hash browns, waffles, cereals, pastries, great coffee, just wow. This will be my go to stop in Salmon Arm.

There were not enough towels in the bathroom when we walked in, so we had to call housekeeping a few times. They have a good breakfast selection, even with gluten-free options. May need to check the tub drain for pooling. It started pooling near the end of my stay.

We arrived at 1130pm after driving 7 hours to salmon arm. The front desk staff was kind and got us sorted into a room quick. BUT when we walked in, the room was disgusting. There was hair in the bed, sink and shower. The toilet had toilet paper in it. The walls and fridge had smear marks of an unknown substance. It was awful. It took us an hour from when we arrived to when we left. The front desk guy working was extremely nice and made sure we got refunded and we spent the extra $40/night to stay in the Hilton.

The check in girl and breakfast lady were awesome! but this property was disappointing for a best western hotel. It was older and not up to their usual standards. We were kind of sketched out when we drove in and if we hadn’t already paid we would’ve gone elsewhere. Our room near the back was less than 100 from the train tracks with several trains rolling through in the night. If you’re just passing through like us who arrived late evening and left early morning it was bearable but definitely not a place to spend your vacation.

Good comfortable beds. Rooms very clean and well stocked. Did not use pool facilities or try the breakfast. Quick overnight stay. Location close to the rail lines. Did not bother us though.

The floor in the room was quite dirty. Walking in your bare feet is not recommended. They will be black. Other people’s hair was also still around the floor. Otherwise the bedding was clean and the amenities are OK. Pet friendly which is a bonus.
