"Up on Seaham beach for the weekend so really only looking for an overnight base as up early on the 2 mornings were were around. Family room was clean and spacious enough, beds comfortable. The macerator loo was quite noisy, and you'll hear the ones in adjacent rooms too if guests are staying. Our room's radiator was permanently on despite us turning it to off, which made the room very warm in May so we had to open the window all night - not too eco-friendly I'm afraid.
