"I would love to give this a high rating because the staff was great and the location is good. I will also say that it’s very safe. I can’t give it a high rating because there were more than a dozen items in the room that needed a hand on it. Simple things which makes you wonder what the issue is. I didn’t see other rooms but the maid service attempted to come in every day with no way to say “do not disturb”. The first day I thought it was someone at the wrong room because I don’t speak Italian....

The area is very peaceful, quiet, and safe. The house is on top of the mountain with a wonderful view, cool in the summer. The center of the village is a short walk away. Very good breakfast for 5 euro per person. If you want an authentic Italian village experience - this is it. "

"Savignione is a quaint and adorable town 20 minutes by car from Genoa. We spent 4 days here and thoroughly enjoyed the sweet mountain air and the friendliness of the people. Not only Claudia and her husband are wonderful, efficient, friendly, and multilingual, but they also run a tight ship. We felt so at home in this place.The place is a short walk from the town piazza where you can leave/park your car. There is a newly opened pizzeria and Mike’s taverna are great places for dinner. "

"We werden vriendelijk ontvangen. We dachten dat we in het grote huis zouden blijven, maar dat bleek niet zo te zijn. Dat vonden we erg jammer! Er moest een airco worden geïnstalleerd. Daarom moesten wij aan de overkant in een oud huis blijven. Het was er muf en de energie was bedompt. Mijn tienerdochter was niet echt blij, ook omdat er een slechte WiFi verbinding was. De kleindochter en gastvrouw waren wel heel erg behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Gastvrijheid was top!"
