Hotel Royal Positano

Hotel Royal Positano

8/10 Good
"The property is a bit dated. For Americans, there is no coffee/tea maker in the room. Breakfast is good, getting an Americano (espresso with water) makes the coffee cold. Showers are tiny and the door in my room didn’t close properly so the bathroom got wet. Finally, nobody really talks about the steps and vertical drops for Positano. From the hotel to the road near the main shopping area is just under 400 steps (yes 400). This is more about Positano and the location of the hotel vs the hotel itself."

"The young gentleman working at the front desk during our stay on August 27 and 28 was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond for us. My mom loves watching Spanish TV, and when we couldn’t find the channel she wanted, he came to our room and even connected the TV to one of his own personal streaming accounts so she could watch her shows. It was such a thoughtful gesture and really meant a lot to us. The room was very large, spacious, comfortable, and clean. Breakfast was also very good, and the property is in a great location.
