Adorable stray cat on property is very sweet. Owner and his wife were kind and polite. Very very affordable and was close enough to Monterey for our purposes. Right by the 152. Only 20 minutes from Casa de Fruta!"

"I loved staying here! I needed a little vacation for a few days so the Kings Rest was a good pick. The owner man working the front desk was very kind. I had read some reviews before & they had said it was dirty but I don’t agree. It was very clean & my expectations were met. Yes you can hear people but that is only if they’re loud! If you turn on the AC/Heater you’ll be just fine. I would love to stay here again! "
