Upon coming into hotel, I was not greated. There were two employees behind the desk. One working with a customer that was also checking in ahead on me and the other was just standing around talking to the working employee, shuffling papers around, periodically looking up but never said a word to me. Now it’s my turn, smooth transaction, my husband walks up with my daughter asking where’s the restroom. Employee proceeded to say I’m just finishing up and I’ll have to walk you up to your room (5th floor) bc the card key machine is down. Although my daughter did make it to the restroom, I noticed the next day that there was a restroom on the 1st floor where we entered this hotel, it was just around the corner. It was very inconvenience and inconsiderate for her to try and make her hold her urine just to make to our room. Later that night I called the front desk and asked for extra blankets. Employee states ok, however no one showed up with extra blankets. I called again about 45 minutes later and request again. Employee proceeds to say, “since it’s after 10pm you would have to come get the blankets yourself.” However it wasn’t 10pm when I called the first time. I said ok and hung up the phone without waiting for a response. Also, I booked and paid for double queen bedrooms but these rooms were most definitely full size beds! I did ask about the bed sizes upon departure. The employee then states on that side those are queens. I responded with no they are not and just left at that.

This hotel had an excellent location right on the Riverwalk, close to restaurants. About 3 blocks to the cathedral which has an awesome night show. The breakfast was great and the rooms were clean. The pool was a nice perk on the hot afternoon but it was a bit cramped. Otherwise everything was excellent!

Our toilet seat was broken on the first day we got there and we let the front desk(night crew) know the day we got there. They had serveral workers just standing there in the lobby and when I went to let them know they all just started and smirked to themselves. They just took a picture of the picture that I had took. And didn’t even gave me a resolution or answer. The whole time I was there the toilet was broken and didn’t get fixed. Day crew was really nice and welcoming. Overall clean hotel. The food was okay. And parking was fair.

Parking around here was terrible with lots of homeless wandering around. Expected reality in a city, but the parking garages around there are not secure. Some guests had their car stolen from the garage the night I was there. Homeless lady approached my children while eating breakfast asking if they could fix her a waffle while in the hotel. Not exactly a safe area. Riverwalk is nice.
