"I stayed at the Oxford for two nights and was sad to leave! The tiny house was well stocked and absolutely delightful, convenient and comfortable! I was solo traveling so I think with a second person it would be a bit more tight if you had a lot of luggage. I hope to be back again soon! "

It is a nice little Colorado town with a good vibe. It is obviously growing as there is a lot of new construction. Downtown area is quite nice with lots of restaurants and shops and outdoor common space. The river is a main attraction in town.

Salida is a wonderful place! The Riverwalk is beautiful & downtown has so much to offer for shopping & dining. We scheduled several activities around the area & easily got to them from Salida. Definitely recommend the area!

"Due to flight delays, we arrived after the check-in period. The staff made convenient arrangements for our late arrival. They were very friendly and responsive to our requests. I would certainly stay here again if I were ever in the area."

"The cabin was exceptional inside and out. We plan to stay there again next year. Leona was the best hostess you could ask for. She helped in every way she could. Right behind the cabin is a stream. At night you could the stream. It's a perfect cabin for a couple. ."
"The room was very spacious and clean. Finding a place to stay as a family with 4 kids isn't always easy, but our room had a king bed, pull out couch/bed, and full size bunk beds. We didn't want to leave and will definitely be staying here the next time we come through. Only complaint was that it wasn't ready at check in time, but the staff was very nice and reassuring while we waited. The strawberry waffles at breakfast are just the icing on the cake for this hotel!"
