"Checking in was a bit confusing but got it figured out. The lights in the bathroom when a person was in a stall turned off shortly after entering, so ended up doing the paperwork in the dark. Was concerned about the yurt cooling off at night but that was not an issue. Wish there was a better maintained path down to the river. Definitely would stay again."

"We've stayed here twice now and would choose this wonderful cabin again over any other option. The set up is perfect, everything you need for a spot to explore the surrounding area. The owners were very gracious and responsive and you can tell they care a lot about their guests. We love the location, the quiet, the breeze, the views, everything! We love the neighborhood. Would definitely recommend to anyone. 10/10."

"Host was very welcoming. Nice cheaper option. My husband was weary at first about staying in a room in someone’s house essentially but we were out to hike before breakfast no issues. He said he liked it there. You can watch the hummingbirds at the feeder and sit out by the patio. Every room was full but we heard no noises. Host chatted with us for a few minutes upon arrival. She also has a nice dog. She offers breakfast in the morning which would have been nice if we didn’t wanna be up so early"

"We came through to Crested Butte with not many expectations. We got in late, around 9, after driving 12 hours and looked like heethans. We came in starving and asked if we were appropriate enough to grab a bite and a drink. The entire staff was incredible and welcoming. Our bartender was pretty new, but confident in all he did and personable to the nines. I think it was David? Anyway, espresso martini and whatever my husband had were incredible, as was the homemade lasagna and gnocchi! It literally started our trip to be amazing. In the morning I came down to the gorgeous mineral pool and had some time and didn’t want to leave. Thanks so much for such a wonderful stay! Highly recommend!"

"Me and my wife rented the cabin last August of 2025 and got married in salida. We stayed the last week of July 2026 for our honeymoon.I cannot thank our hosts enough for having us.It was a very romantic stay.And as a couple that like OHV Riding,It was nice Riding on the mountain pass in our RZR 50" trail over Hancock pass to pitkin for a nice lunch.And on a side note, It irrates me about negative,untruthful recent reviews.Please read and understand what is said about bringing dogs,extra guests,etc, and simple rules as a guest that you are.The hosts are very nice people and just ask for simple respect.Just a beautiful place for a kansas couple to get away from the hustle and bustle of big city living."

"This house is prefect for us! It’s exactly where we like to stay in order to access water and hiking. It’s also close to Salida so we were able to enjoy that as well. Leona is very responsive and easy to work with. See you next summer!"
