"Stayed two nights for a celebration of life for my husband. Got to show his brother the island and things he loved. The house was everything the website stated, the host communicated a great deal, and there were even nice little extras someone would appreciate who came with a family. I took full advantage of the swings. 😀"

"Wonderful and convenient place. But you will need a blanket because it gets a little chilly and you cannot control the thermometer too much. Also, the recycling bin and trash was full when we got there, but otherwise it was wonderful."

"Had a great stay at this very pet friendly, perfectly located, comfortable home. The fenced, shaded yard was perfect for the dog to be as relaxed as me. The walk to the beach was just a couple of blocks. The house was perfectly centered for activities both north and south of Nags Head. Lots of communication took the guess work out of check in and check out. "

"Overall our stay was a good one. But in the living room we noticed droplets on floor near large sofa. We believe someone had a pet there because our son had a allergic reaction. But we cleaned up and sprayed the room. Thank you for the rental but it was more of a 3 day stay then a 4 day stay. I have learned to double check for that next time. Take care!"

We've been coming to the OBX for about 25 years, and have stayed at pretty much most locations in the area, but always off-peak or at the end of the season ( mid-september or March) This was our 1st during the peak season, and, with all the crowds, this was a perfect area to stay for that time. Family oriented house, quiet location and still very close to the main area and restaurants (15 minute drive away) ... better beach at Oregon Inlet area just a 10-15 minute drive...
