"We really enjoyed our stay here, the rooms were spacious and well maintained, clean and very comfortable. The fully stocked free mini bar that was replenished daily was definitely a plus! The staff throughout the hotel were so friendly and helpful, you could see they all loved working here and it made the holiday all the more enjoyable. The facilities were great, the choice of restaurants and bars abundant and we had so much variety that we didn’t go to the same one twice in the week that we were there. We loved the beach but preferred to use the pool to swim as we were there when there was a lot of sea grass. There was lots to do in resort with a daily schedule of different activities and entertainment offerings to keep you occupied if you wanted more than just chill on a beach or around the pool. My only criticisms would be that they allowed people to place towels on the sunbeds even if they weren’t using them all day and didn’t stop people from holding onto the floats that were available for you to use in the pool (Lazy River) so I would recommend you take your own."

"This was my second time visiting Ocean Maya Royale, and it continues to be one of my top resort experiences in Mexico. I’m already looking forward to returning again. One of the things I love most is the size of the resort — it’s just right. It’s not too big or overwhelming, so getting around is easy and convenient. Everything you need is within a comfortable walking distance, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. The food is excellent, with so many delicious options throughout the day. You’re never left hungry here — every meal and snack is great quality. The beach is absolutely stunning, easily the best I’ve seen in Mexico. Beautiful water, clean sand, and a truly relaxing atmosphere. The staff are a major highlight. The entertainment team is fantastic, especially Kenddell and Susie, who go above and beyond to make every day fun. The entire team is amazing! The bartenders Miguel, Diego, and Johnny are exceptional — friendly, talented, and always welcoming. And Russel is an outstanding server who made each dining experience feel special. My only suggestion would be to consider adding some additional accessibility features to the pool area to make it even more comfortable and inclusive for all guests. Overall, Ocean Maya Royale is a wonderful resort that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, enjoyable, and memorable vacation."
