"This is my first time to this property, but I'm not new to the Excellence brand. Theu did not disappoint. I got 5 star treatment everyday. I didn't even have to leave the pool to have lunch - it was delivered. I didn't clean my own sunglasses. I had 6 towels on a bali bed for one person. Living the dream! "

"Very good property. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food at the two specialty restaurants are excellent. The facilities a very well kept, too bad we visited during the peak of the algae season, that made beach unappealing."

"Really enjoyed my stay here. I booked a swim out room, and thankful I did. Was nice waking up every morning and having the ability to jump right into the pool. Room itself was very spacious. Bed was comfortable, and the furniture was simple, but worked. Didn't feel trendy or dated. I dined at the 2 of the restaurants and did the buffet. I've read a lot of complaints about the food, and honestly, nothing I had was bad. On the same note, nothing also really stood out. I used the room service feature, and the wait time was about 45 minutes, so please keep that in mind if you are famished. Staff were professional and courteous. I went in the season of sea weed, so the beach was not accessible (I travel to Mexico often, so this is not a surprise to me. Please research when this happens so you are not caught off guard by it). I have only 2 minor complaints. The first, is I am an early riser. So I had to wait till about 730/0800 to get my swim time in as they were doing the maintenance on the pools (not dinging them for this, as this is very much a resort that has an active night life). The second is the remoteness of this location. My excursions that I booked, I was in the cab/vans a lot due to being the first one being picked up (e.g. I booked a Chichen Itza tour, and left at 0700, and got back at 2330). So if you plan to do any long excursions, look at spending the extra money and do it exclusive). I had a lot of fun and would stay here again."

"I love everything staff was amazing it was safe and there was a lot to do. Entertaining during the day and at night. I wish the pool options At night were available but they’re not closes around 8pm and they do it for the safety of everyone. Wet bar extremely clean and great especially Gustavo and his unique taste in drinks that would make it such an amazing experience. Yes, tropical and beautiful resort, restaurant are great, food has flavor but it’s on the more bland side and it’s not bad they looking out for you! Different restrictions when it comes to food, i thought I was going to get sick going to another international country on the contrary I was fine food was exceptional I drank the water, salad, everything and I didn’t get sick at all. That was the amazing part, there’s animals that come out at night just know that’s it’s the beauty of being there just leave them alone and they don’t bother you at all. "

"Rooms are a little too far apart from lobby and restaurants and golf carts that take you back and forward stop early at night. Also lobby to rooms roads are a little roo dark."
