"The house was nice and clean. The view was fabulous. A quiet area only a short drive to Niagara Falls. There were plenty of dishes/cup/glasses/etc. There were plenty of small appliances like toaster, toaster oven, coffee maker, tea kettle. Having an extra refrigerator stocked with water was a wonderful bonus. It was a great place for 3 generations to spend a long weekend together."

"It looks good and it's secure. The place is well located inside the park and there are activities around to keep you busy. However; you have to read carefully the details of this place. You have to pay extra for the waterpark ($80 per day for two parents and two kids). And also bring basic stuff for your stay: oil cooking, plastic bags for your garbage, sugar for your coffee, etc."

"This is the cutest wee animal sanctuary. Place was clean and comfortable. Communication with owner was immediate and excellent. It is a bit rustic, but for me, i was very happy. Highly recommend and if we come back to the area definitely staying here. Close to everything. Niagra falls, niagra on the lake, Weiland locks, tulip farm all within 20- 30 min."

"The location was good. Walking distance to the arcade, food trucks, convenience store, tennis courts, water park etc.. Beaches were nearby, and clean. However, the cottage was quite dirty. Past guests left food in the oven, chips in between bowls inside the cupboard, floors were sticky, tub drain had hair and slime, small pet hairs were on the mattresses and sofa, BBQ was dirty. "Our family had a wonderful time viewing the total solar eclipse from Crystal Beach. The layout of the home and multiple sleeping areas plus three full bathrooms were a great fit for our group. The lake access was amazing and we appreciated the instructional notes throughout the home. Thank you for an enjoyable stay!"

However, the kids ran around from upstairs, even though it was quite late at night and we were trying to sleep in the lower level of the house. One of my relatives is handicapped and had difficulty going up the stairs because there was only one handrail for her to use, and she can only use one side of her body. Having handrails on both sides would be safest for anyone with mobility...

"Access to bathroom through kitchen and dining common area and would have been somewhat less inconvenient if there was some low level lighting to find the way. The room was ideal and the bed comfortable and the host was gracious."
