"My one day at Coast Parksville Hotel was exceptional … I booked the room in a very short notice. I came 1.5 hours before check in and they gave me the room … early check in. The hotel is residing in a very quiet neighbourhood on the famous Island Hwy road. It is across a Mini Golf and minutes away from the beach. The hotel looks brand new from outside and inside. They have free modern coffee machine in the guests room with a fireplace. The room looks brand new … everything you need is available … free wifi, air conditioner, comfortable bed and pillows, fridge, microwave, your own coffee/tea machine, TV, many clean towels, small table and chairs, adjustable light … the reception is friendly … always smiling … and they even offered suggestions like the free mini golf. This is a must try hotel if you are passing by the majestic Parksville. For groceries, I walked 18 minutes to Quality Food … a very modern and new HUGE grocery shop. There is a MacDonald couple of minutes away. Though, the best part is the water walkway which is just 8-10 minutes away from hotel … walking. Enjoy "

In the bathroom, the tub walls are quite high so a grab bar would be handy and some towel racks for the bath towels would also be welcome. We had an early morning so we appreciated that the outdoor music did not run very late. "
