Great affordable spot for our family of 4 (8mo + 2.5yo kids) during the summer month. We stayed in a family room with two bunk beds, though we didn't used the top bunks and has to co-sleep with our little ones. The highlight is the location. Smackbam in the heart of Queenstown! Staff are friendly and check-in process was smooth. The cons being the noise - bars nearby played loud music til about 11pm. And the communal kitchen - too small to accommodate the size of the hostel.

We reserved the private room for 3 and it was fantastic. Property is located in the middle of everything! The kitchen is well equipped and very nice although a bit crowded at times. Laundry was the most expensive we found in our travels but we were in the heart of Queenstown so I guess that should be expected.

Room was cosy and clean, a good size for my needs. Hostel is located near the waterfront, with easy access to pkenty of eating options and activities. Area can get noisy into the late hours due to proximity to bars and restaurants, especially at weekends. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Can't beat the location, everything is literally in walking distance with the only need for a hire car for roaming, all the shuttles are the next street over for most activities and tours. We cracked it with free parking aswell which was close to accommodation. And views from the shared kitchen area are breathtaking. Clean accommodation, staff friendly with lots of advice.
