The best time to go to Prospect, Nova Scotia, is during the summer months, from June to September, when the weather is at its finest for enjoying the coastal activities and scenery.

During July and August, the days are typically warm and sunny, with average temperatures around 20-25°C, making it ideal for kayaking, hiking the coastal trails, or exploring the picturesque village on foot. The ocean temperatures are also at their warmest, which is pleasant for those who enjoy a dip, though it's still quite cool compared to warmer climates. This period also sees the most daylight hours, allowing for longer days of exploration.

Early autumn, specifically September, offers a different kind of beauty. The crowds begin to thin, and the weather remains pleasant, often sunny with cooler evenings. This is a wonderful time for those who prefer a more tranquil experience, with opportunities to see the start of the autumn foliage in the surrounding areas while still enjoying comfortable conditions for outdoor pursuits.
