The room we got upgraded to had a spectacula view of the bay with cargo ships and trains going by (still super quiet). Clean, staff are friendly and the breakfast was nice. We didn’t get to use the pool but it’s a nice touch. Lots of renovations happening currently to keep it modern

Great location. Breakfast wasn’t great and the building was undergoing renovations so some of the areas where missing carpet and the sounds were loud at times.
Excellent location. 15 minutes from downtown. Attentive service, comfortable bed, mini fridge microwave and coffee maker in the room were appreciated. They were just finishing a renovation. Impressive breakfast included.
The site was under construction. The hotel was filled with folks there partying. I felt very disgusting and uncomfortable. The hallways smelled of smoke.
Breakfast was good.
Staff were very courteous and helpful. The room was clean and perfectly satisfactory for my needs. The breakfast is great - lots of choices!
Only thing was they are doing renovations so that's a little annoying, especially if you're wanting a nap during your stay. But that doesn't really reflect the overall rating of the place as it's just temporary.
very comfortable bed quiet room and good breakfast

Liked: Staff & service
Staff was delightful and helpful and kind and informative. Room was lovely, carpet in hallways is a little dingy, but you know that. Construction going on second floor was no problem. I am glad you are investing in the future of this nice hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Halifax.
