"We chose the Conference Centre because it was close to another venue we were attending. Beautiful grounds and coastal drive."

"Room was clean and updated. Blackout curtains, large clean bathroom, with good water pressure in shower, AC worked well, TV provided an abundance of live programming (not Roku). Beds were a bit soft for us, but that is a personal preference. about 500 metres from Costco and many restaurants and shopping options. Overall a great room for the price near downtown Halifax."

"The Lakeside bar was the perfect place to relax and work. The staff were great and always helpful. I loved having a view of the water and a space to walk around outdoors. "

"I chose this hotel because I had family at the Hospital and all downtown hotels charged you for parking! I appreciated the microwave and was thrilled to see a tub mat in the bathroom. Decor is somewhat dated and I wish there was a hot option for breakfast but overall I was pleased with the accommodation and the room rate."

"Our room did not have adequate air conditioning and it was too hot to sleep. We went to front desk who only gave us batteries for the remote and it still did not work. The window opened a small way but it wasn't effective. Our toilet also plugged and we were simply handed a plunger."

"Perfect stay. Lovely front desk staff, spacious clean modern rooms. Terrific breakfast with lots of choices. Ric does a great job making sure breakfast is well stocked and fresh. The La Rouge restaurant on site is a nice place to have dinner as well."
