"Very nice, modern, clean hotel. An Uber to downtown Halifax was about $26. The only issue I had was the hotel tried to charge more money for our rooms than our Expedia booking had stated. The staff were great and changed everything for me- but if I had not noticed I would have paid significantly more for the room than I booked it for. I would suggested double checking this when you check in. Otherwise wonderful stay, would stay again."

"This is a hidden gem of a property. Doesn’t look like much online or at first glance when approaching but rooms are updated, comfortable and well thought out. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Easy parking. And breakfast is a several notches above average hotel breakfasts. Location near chocolate lake is a plus- bring your paddle board or kayak for a relaxing workout in summer and fall. The chairs and picnic tables and gazebo in back is a great touch a relaxing morning or evening"
