The area is not walkable and there are no nearby shops or restaurants. On the other hand, the attached restaurant was excellent both for breakfast and supper. Staff was extremely helpful. Never used the gym so cannot comment there. Good wifi and plentiful hot water."

Unfortunately the wedding in the hotel on Saturday night dominated all the communal areas of the hotel which meant that we couldn’t have the nightcap in the bar we were hoping for, as well as there being the thumping of the music from the wedding in our room until well after 11pm. Had we known yet the bar area would be pretty much out of action to other guests we might have chosen to stay elsewhere."
