"Beautiful location and surroundings. For the price, I expected it to be quite high end and they’re trying to be but don’t quite make it. Room smelt of baby sick on arrival so that a huge disappointment. I think they really lack good, quality staff but it is in the middle of nowhere so maybe tough to get good people. Service is slow, food took sooo long to come out. Gym is like a dungeon, dirty, dark, poor equipment and too small. Pool area was lovely. Room and views were awesome on the whole. "

"We really enjoyed our stay,the suite was clean and comfortable with a lovely balcony,unfortunately the weather was awful,so we couldn’t use it or go on the planned walks.The breakfast was outstanding with a lovely buffet and a comprehensive menu.We thought that the dinner menu was limited and quite expensive,but the restaurant was lovely and the service outstanding,if the weather had been better it would have made a huge difference."

"If you want a family holiday up to 9 people in South Devon in the Countryside, staying in a traditional thatched cottage, then this is the place for you. Amazing character set in a beautiful village location, close to all the beaches for the children but far enough away from the crowds and traffic in August. "There were 19 of us ranging from 2 to 89. The house was wonderful with everything we wanted. Pool, hot tub, childrens play area and table tennis were an added bonus as it meant we didn’t feel need to go out all time. The local pub was lovely and there is a fab little cafe with

below as a reward after a 2 mile coastal stroll. Coombe Cellars is also great place to eat as it’s on the estuary and they easily catered for our large party. The host was also welcoming and the scones, jam and cream...
