    Lazy Lizard Inn is a solid choice. You won’t find the frills of a big resort here, but it’s clean and comfortable and very well kept. Aidan at the front desk is extremely knowledgeable about the region, and was a huge help when planning our day to Daintree & Cape Tribulation. It’s an easy 10 minute walk to Four Mile Beach and 25-30 minutes to town, but there are some restaurants nearby. Would recommend!…

    The Sands Resort Port Douglas exceeded expectations in every way. Superbly run by friendly accommodating management, the Sands has immaculate gardens and pool, and we stayed in a very clean & well-appointed apartment with all comforts necessary for a 9 day stay for a family with 3 kids. Only a few minutes walk from 4 Mile Beach, makes for a great location too. Thanks for a great stay, see you again! Cheers!…
