"We absolutely loved the location of this place. We have stayed in Port Douglas before but this was our favourite spot by far! It was comfortable, gorgeous views and appreciated that the pool was heated. Anthony (who was staying upstairs) was super helpful and respectful of our space. It was very quiet. We would definitely stay again! The only thing to make sure you are aware of if travelling with young kids is that the master bedroom is very separate from the other bedroom. I realise the floor plan was included in the photos but didn’t realise that the section in the middle is open air and can be accessed from the driveway by glass pool fencing (with no lock). This meant we had to lock the kids in the main part of the accomodation (that did not include our bedroom) at night. We bought a baby monitor and this fixed the problem but would be good to note for anyone staying and worried about security. "
"I really enjoyed my stay in Port Douglas. It was easy to check in, the host was very helpful. The unit is in a great spot- only negative was it was a bit noisey Saturday and Sunday night. Loved the outlook of the unit over tropical gardens, water and mountains. "
