As an American, we were unaware that although the hotel is right on the beach - you can not swim in the ocean due to crocodiles. A very convenient location to do all the day excursions around the area. Overall, a great trip !"

"The couple that run this property are very quick at communicating. They are very helpful with anything you need. The best thing about this property is the location. It is right in the middle of all the restaurants and shops. It’s a 5 min walk to the marina and waterfront. It was perfect! The air conditioning didn’t work very well. Thankfully we had good weather and kept the patio door open. I would definitely stay here if you do not have a car. I’d stay here again as it was the perfect location in Port Douglas."
