(Just dont take the road to the lighthouse and then climb the scree over the hill: steep and dangerous). The room was excellent. Comfortable. "Overall, a lovely room with sea view, given that it was not expensive. The room was spacious with a high ceiling and a good shower, though this wasn't thermostatically controlled. There was a good tea/coffee selection. Everything worked in the bathroom. Staff were friendly and we were lucky to get into the hotel parking. A workman had left a drill bit on the bathroom basin and the bedside lights were not plugged in. There was no wardrobe, only 4 hangers on a rail. The bed frame was creaky and the mattress needed replacement, though for a one night stay we didn't mind. There was limited control over the heating in the room, which didn't come on well even when we turned it up. The included breakfast was good though there was no choice offered over what exactly you got in your full english breakfast."
