"Loved it! Would definitely visit again! The best part of the stay was honestly the staff and the shows! Even without the pools, the events all around the resort kept you busy the entire day into the late night! And that’s awesome for our family because we can only do so much swimming until it’s just too hot out!"

"The staff was friendly and helpful. Some of the bartenders were hit or miss, but Gleyvin was my man at the swim up bar! Always friendly and remembered what I ordered and kept the drinks coming. The grounds were very well maintained and they had a good selection of restaurants and events to keep entertained. They no longer have the casino open, which was a bit of a bummer, but there was always something to do! The beach and pool were great, with ample shade for when the sun gets too hot."

"W Punta Cana is one of the newer resort in the area. Overall, my wife and I had a wonderful stay. The staff at this resort are amazing. You get the true, Dominican warmth with each interaction. Special shoutout to the staff conducting the activities at the main pool, bartenders at Wet Bar and The Plaza, bell guys, room service crew, and cleaning crew. Our room was always spotless with sufficient towels and toiletries during our stay. The DJ and entertainment crew at 33 1/3 speakeasy did an amazing job as well. Overall, I give the resort a 8.5 out of 10. Like everything, there is always room for improvement especially at a newer resort. The two areas that are very important at an all-inclusive are food and alcoholic beverages. The food was overall good, but needs a bit of improvement. You are visiting the DR, I feel like there should be more traditional dishes with more flavor/seasoning. Food tended to be a bit bland at times. Lastly, the consistency of the drinks and availability of certain premium brands. Whisky, tonic and lime should taste the same at every location you order from, but that was not the case with several of the drinks. Also, some drinks and liquors would be available for example at the pool, but not at The Plaza. Overall, I would definitely come back and I would recommend this resort to family and friends. I believe management and staff are working hard to improve and live up to the Marriott brand. Cheers to a wonderful stay!"

"Been here in 2015 it totally change food got a little better still horrible, room is better loved the room, pool party everything is on a strict time they made us get out the restaurant so they can change for lunch felt rush, the bartenders if you ain’t tipping a dollar or two they gone serve your drink when they want. They have a limit for the day if they run out a certain drink you gotta go to bar to bar to find it"

"Beautiful hotel . Some of the staff amazing hard working and friendly people. The room was very nice , view was spectacular. However in the buffet the food was cold. I made the complaint , they responded right away , more than one person contacted me but the issue was not resolved. I know that the temperature of the hot plates has to be at a certain level but then probably the equipment they are using is not the appropriate one . I had stayed at many hotels including at DR and this was never an issue . Also at Toa the Dominican restaurant and Yuca another restaurant the service was poor . I want to mention some of the staff for their hospitality and service like Yokaira Cespedes , Valentina keeping her station so clean and making the best eggs and Luis the manager of some of the restaurants for trying very hard to please us . Overall it was a very nice hotel and a relaxing vacation ."
