"A really excellent experience. There are other resorts out there that are a lot more expensive, but this one to me seemed top-notch. No complaints, except the fact that we requested two beds and they only gave us one bed and a sofa that folded out to be an uncomfortable bed. Enjoyed the food. Staff was great. I would definitely go there again. And access to the beach was fantastic. There are people who try to sell you stuff, but they are not aggressive. Once you tell them, no, they leave you alone."

"Rooms were spotless, hallways were spotless, the whole resort was very clean. Staff were awesome, we really appreciated our concierge, Brelin, he was so helpful, attentive, and a great resource for any questions we had. When Brelin was offsite, we relied on Angel, who again was always willing to help in any way needed. Take advantage of your conciege, they are there to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. I would come back and specifically ask for Brelin and Angel again."

"Very attentive staff, amazing room (we had the basic junior suite - I loved the jacuzzi and the bed on our patio was an amazing chill out spot), there are no lunch and dinner buffet so everything is a la carte in various restaurants! The food was uneven from one restaurant to the next but once you figure out your preferences its amazing. Be ready for a lot of red meat! Always found beach chairs and unlimited towels.. when none was available, a worker would move one for you from the pool and set you up! We were not Excellence club and I didn’t feel we missed out on anything. Great overall"

We had Preferred Club with an ocean-view room, and waking up each morning felt like Mother Nature personally upgraded us. The staff make this resort unbeatable. Luis the sommelier is a wine genius — he could pair a bottle with your mood. Ray the butler handled everything so smoothly I started wondering if he had superpowers. Santa at Tierra is pure sunshine and delivers top-tier service. And Victor on the beach? The man is a legend. I’d think about a drink and it magically appeared. The food was phenomenal. The shrimp tacos with pickled onions? Life-changing. The steak with chimichurri? Melt-in-your-soul good. The fried rice dish? A mountain of flavour that kept me going long after I was full. From Tierra to Oceana to the breakfast menu — every plate looked like a magazine shot and tasted even better. Décor and atmosphere? Stunning. Everything felt modern, clean, and beautifully designed. Rooms and service? Impeccable. Comfortable beds, spotless spaces, and service that actually anticipates what you need. Overall, Secrets Tides didn’t just meet expectations — it blew past them.
