"Our stay at Athens gate hotel was so good. Within easy walking distance to all the sites especially as first time visitors to Athens. Staff were excellent throughout the hotel. The rooftop bar and restaurant were highlights to be able to see the Parthenon and to start your day. Foyer was so good to relax in. You need to be prepared for busy times with the lift and be patient. The only downside for us was the PowerPoint on the floor which was very awkward for boiling a kettle."

"It was a nice experience overall. My only complaint is that the property allows for you to reserve pool chairs. This should be nice but many people never showed and the chairs sat empty all day with reserve sign still on them."
