"Sofitel is directly across from the Athens airport. The staff secured a cart for me to transport my luggage from the hotel. It was literally less than 10 minutes door to the airline check in counter. I found the restaurant expensive compared to the various restaurants I dined in during my 5 weeks in Greece. The mushroom soup was delicious. "

"Amazing hotel with superb, friendly staff, great location in the Plaka historical district - minutes away from the Acropolis, Agora, shopping, dining and pretty much anything else you might want to do in Athens. Breakfast on the beautiful rooftop deserves a special mention - amazing cornucopia of delicious Greek breads, cheeses, olives, honey on a comb, served with your choice of freshly brewed coffee and/or juice. A terrific feast for the senses! The indoor pool and sauna also deserve a special mention - super relaxing, easy to reserve. The pool is often empty, so you can enjoy it with some privacy. Spacious comfortable rooms with beautiful views (especially if you have a balcony) of the Parthenon. Just a great place to stay! "

"Rooms in the property are older and bath rooms are needed to be updated and carpets in passages to be replaced and pairing is needed to make the rooms and the passages to be brightest. It looks old and dull. Service and staff are exceptional . "
