"The Spa was a disaster for me, the Lady that massaged me was brutal and would not let off the pressure either. I was in tears after it, I hope this is a one off incident. They did not charge me for it because my husband mentioned it to them which was nice, but nothing further was done. The drinks were good but way too expensive, this led us not to use the restaurant because of all the extra charges they put on top of the price mentioned. The staff was kind and helpful, the premises was beautiful...

"I really enjoyed the fact that it was in the middle of the jungle, the breakfast was top tier everyday. I enjoyed the hot springs they were really nice, and the rooftop pool overlooking the volcano was the cherry on top. "

"The property is very close to the volcano El Arenal, has beautiful views and the staff is great. It is somewhat rustic, but very clean. There is food served for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The thermal baths are rustic, but very natural and there are three different temperatures. You are close to town, but not walkable. They have tours that will pick you up and the is an Avis car rental place with excellent service. It is best to fly from San José and rent the car in town. Will save you hours of driving unfamiliar roads."
