"Great staff and excellent breakfast. This hotel is conveniently located to tourist sites but currently the street, Las Ramblas, is doing a tremendous amount of construction. It is loud during daytime hours. Also, the subway station is close by and you will hear rumbling but it did not bother me. "

"As the name implies, it’s right on the famous La Rambla. Booked 2 rooms, lady up front could have done a better job assigning the rooms. My daughter, SIL and grand baby (who needed a crib) ended up in the smaller room, while my husband and I got the bigger room. By the time we realized it, it was late into the night and have unpacked already. But, we shouldn’t have had to worry about that if the employee did her due diligence. No instructions on how to use the AC, WiFi info in the room was outdated. Asked for non-smoking room, but the hallways smelled like smoke. No body lotion was provided, shampoo & body wash were so small, I couldn’t tell which one is which. It’s a good thing we brought our own. These are the things that can be easily remedied since it’s related to simple customer service. The bed could use more pillows since the mattress was hard (no box spring), there were 2 pillows, we found a 3rd one in the closet/ dresser. They could use new warm blankets, the ones we got had seen better days, they’re mocha colored, it made them look dirty. I said “they” since our mattress were 2 twins pushed together to make a queen bed, they also made up the bed as twins, so my husband & I essentially had separate beds. Free breakfast was okay, just like any free breakfast, the spread was the same every day. They will pack you breakfast if you have an early flight, just let them know. Hoping this review will help someone decide or be better prepared when booking their stay."

"This is a beautiful hotel in the Gothic Quarter in Barcelona, within walking distance of many beautiful things. The hotel is quiet, clean and modern, with friendly and helpful staff. Their breakfast is the most amazing I've seen in any hotel. You will love your stay there....also many great restaurants near by. We ate at the Red Garter around the corner and loved the food! "

"We stayed at the Eurostars Grand Marina for six nights. We loved the location of the hotel, the room was good (even though slightly outdated), and the staff was overall attentive and professional. However, our otherwise positive experience was completely ruined by the catastrophic noise insulation toward the hallway and particularly toward the neighboring room, something mentioned also in a few other reviews. We arrived late afternoon and could hear the TV from the other room as if it was in our room. And whenever someone passes in the hallway, the door to the hallway seems to work like an amplifier and not like a noise barrier. A main issue in our room (443) was the connecting door to the next room. We asked for a room change next day, but the staff told us the hotel was full. The last night was then truly unbearable - it really felt as if people were in our room and not next door. I have stayed in a good number of USD200-300 per-night hotels in the last 10 years in the US and Europe, but never had such a truly terrible experience. So I would say that if you are not at all noise-sensitive and love to hear every word from people on the hallway and next room, and you also don't care at all about your privacy and love it when other people can hear 100% of everything you say and do, then this hotel is for you. Otherwise, I would stay away. I sent an email to the duty manager but was "informed" that this is a "structural" problem, so nothing they can do."
