"Thank you, Premiere Inn, our overnight stay was perfect and easily could stay longer, to accommodate our family of 4. It was clean, the staff were friendly, resourceful and accommodating. If you have lots of luggage, it is better to catch a cab from the rail station. Only £5-€12 because it's close but hilly.
The breakfast was delicious and good value. Durham is beautiful and charming with so much character."
"Lovely place, kind and welcoming host. Clean and well kept, and peefect for what we needed, which was to be within close walking distance of the cit centre and colleges. Grateful for the loan of an umbrella as it rained heavily while we were there!"
"This is a hotel with real character. Built as a civic building in 1905, the hotel owner totally renovated the guest rooms but retained the beautiful interiors along the corridors, in the restaurant, etc. In the guest rooms, there is a rarity -- lots of electrical outlets! Also, as this building was built solid, guest rooms are quiet -- you hear nothing from the next room. All the staff (check in, restaurant, cleaners) were very helpful and pleasant. I would stay here again. "
"Regular emails by the host, easy to access the property with the codes, free parking at the back of the property, apartment spacious both bedroom had their own bedrooms, 2nin walk to the town with restaurants and bars on the doorstep "
"The cleanliness of this apartment was substandard, dirty bedlinen which was stained and had other people’s hair on it. Very smelly unclean drains in the bathroom which kept us awake at night it was so bad. We had to clean the plug in the bathroom sink as it was full of black mould which washed into sink every time you put plug in. The carpets and sofa were dirty with stains, presumably from other peoples dogs? We couldn’t use the sofa it was so bad, no throw to cover it. Spider webs covered the light fittings. The apartment needs a thorough deep clean.
The wine, chocolates, milk and orange juice were a nice touch but we would have preferred the apartment to be clean and no gifts. Very disappointing."
"After a little trouble finding the location everything was wonderful. The apartment was sparkling clean, the communication was quick and helpful, and the location was fantastic. I'd definitely stay here again."
