"As always the staff are helpful and welcoming. The good sized rooms are always clean. This time the WiFi was poor cutting out occasionally. The restaurant is comfortable with well spaced tables. The evening meals are always well cooked as is breakfast. I'll be back 😁"

"We were made to feel welcome by Amy on reception. She told us everything we needed to know and was particularly helpful with a monor problem we had. Our room was comfortable and also very quiet. There was good parking facilities and the Miller and Carter was opposite for an evening meal. We had a good breakfast which was buffet style."

"Absolutely beautiful grade 1 listed hotel in a lovely village. You would need a car to get there and get around as there is not much to do in Oundle village is beautiful and would be great to stay one or two nights without using the car, longer stays would be good if you have transport. We don’t normally go back to places but will try to return here"

"Ok it’s a small hotel that does not have the usual gym and facilities but if all you need is a room with bath/shower it’s ok. Place could do with a coat of paint in places however the lounge bar overlooking the lake is great"
